Our X3 is supposed to start production Friday!! We have been waiting 3.5 weeks now and I can hardly stand the wait!! I am driving my husband nuts because all I can think about or talk about is our new car! I have been buying accessories for it like an expecting parent; floor mats, cargo tray, cleaning products/tools, key chain, and plate frames! I've told my co-workers that I am taking a parental leave day to pick it up. I'm so excited that even my sleep is suffering.
This will be our first new car and our first BMW...can't wait...hopefully just another 2.5 weeks before we pick it up! Did I mention that we sold our trade 2 weeks ago and have been driving a 2010 Dodge Caravan in the meantime?! It's like eating a big piece of humble pie! The next test of patience will be keeping my gas foot light to break the engine in properly! Vermillion Red 35i M Sport |

Now the trick is finding a good size set of rims for the X3.
I have my 30d Msport with the 19" option....but in White the car looks huge and makes even the 19" too small. Worried even the 20" option will look small as they come with lower profile tires. What are your plans? |

I'm just going to leave my wheel setup with the stock 19s. In fact, because I live in New York City with a ton of pot holes, I'm worried that 19s might be too big..

ugh potholes - jreed thats why i ordered mine w/ the 18"s not the 19"s... i did sport not M sport so that was an option on the 2011... apprently not on 2012 where 19s get bundled into sport as well as M sport.
damn potholes in the northeast/north central part of the country.
