Blizzard in Denver - Damage to Bumper/QP

Unfortunately, I had to drive to pick up my wife from work since her office closed. Upon leaving the garage of our condo, which was not plowed and I've made them aware, the car moved down this incline and rubbed a concrete wall.

I will see what my insurer says but I will also go get quotes to see if the condo community will do something about it. I wanted to post pictures as I believe this is $1500+ worth of damage (removal of bumper, PDR quarter panel, prep, paint, clearcoat, re-install of bumper). Curious to get the communities thoughts.

In Canada you're better off paying for these minor repairs yourself instead of putting them through insurance, as they will raise your rates so much that in the end you will pay even more.

I am getting quotes for $2200 that include quite a bit of work on the quarter panel. It seems the bumper should only cost ~$500 to remove/prep/paint/install. Going for more quotes tomorrow.

On my first X3 I had the bumper re-sprayed and it was 600. The quarter panel they should be able to PDR, even if it's not 100%, no one will notice. Once you paint something it's never the same, try to avoid that route. My wife's e90 has been repainted (by a BMW certified place) and it's just not the same - softer paint, scratches/swirls easy.

I am getting the same estimates in that range. R/I Bumper + Paint at roughly $500-600. PDR the QP at $75.

I agree on painting the quarter panel. I'm very weary of paint work especially when it's a metallic.
