Question about which engine is in the 320 2017

I read online that a 2017 320xi should have the B48B20 engine. But when I do a vin decoder for a March 2017 production of a 320 xi the vin decoder says N20 engine?

Who is wrong?

Wrong section gang, check out the 3 series section. My guess is that it's possible half of the model year range got N20 and the other half got the B48. I'd trust the vin decoder personally, but check out the F30 section those guys probably will be able to answer better.
