Just ordered X3 35i - very excited!
Thanks to everyone on these forums I have made the decision to jump into an X3 35i. Here is what I ordered...
Carbon Black, Black Nevada and Brushed Aluminum Cold Weather, Convenience, Dynamic Handling, M Sport, Premium, Technology, HUD, BMW Apps, Premium hi-fi, Satellite, Auto high beams. I requested satin roof rails instead of the high gloss black. I am not sure if this can be done, but my dealer said they would note it. I am very excited to have arrived at my decision. I have been without a vehicle since I returned my leased X5 4.8i. This should keep me until the X3M arrives!

I believe it will go into allocation for this month and be a 2011. IMO there were not any significant changes and I am getting very impatient!

Yes they said the same to me. I told them I thought I saw somewhere on one of these threads that someone was able to order them special. They said they would try. Congratulations! Enjoy!

At least in Canada the M-Sport package has the option of either the high gloss black or the satin roof rails. I opted for the satin as well and it goes very well with TiAg. Should be a nice contrast to your Carbon Black. Congrats.

Ah maybe that is where I saw it with someone from Canada. Yes it would be nice. That is what they do with the X5 M Sport option. Thank you very much!

I might _MIGHT_ be willing to swap my silver roof rails for your blacks. I am in CT and I picked up my x3 35i yesterday. Mine is in Deep Sea Blue and I am not fond of the silver railing. Gimmie a PM if you are interested!
