I’d like to wrap the peeling panels on my standard steering wheel with some 3M 1080 matte black vinyl wrap. I’ve searched forums and YouTube but no joy for any tutorials on how to remove the panels for the above base wheel. Anybody that has done this project- does the airbag need to come off? Are the panels secured with a torx screw from the back? Attached is the type of wheel I’m talking about- thanks very much!
