Antifreeze low?

The car told me today my antifreeze was low. I topped it off, it needed about a pint. My X3 has ~33,000 miles. Would this be normal?

Check for leaks. My x5 has 34k miles and I also needed to top it off. The car did not warn me and it was below the minimum line. I didn't notice any leaks

I've had it happen on my 2013. It may just have been underfilled from the factory
