I sure will. I first opted for the Melbourne red, just to get away from the different shades of gray but made a last minute change, mostly because the Melbourne red looks like a solid paint, not metallic (you have to look really close). The Sparkling brown REALLY sparkles.

My dealer managed to find a production slot two weeks from now. Est time of delivery is about 10 weeks from production. It's a looong way from Spartanburg, SC to Sweden.

For your info: I got my car from production to "in my hands in Belgium" in less then 6 weeks.....From order in a bid more then 2 months.
But it is a lonnnnng wait :-) good luck!!!! Afterwards you'll enjoy every split second in it! It is well worth the wait! |

This is my fourth new BMW in a row, but I'll never get used to the wait. I'm loving it already. BTW, went to my dealer today and ordered the "titanium" front grilles as retrofit. I think that they makes all the difference. I actually had some options regarding delivery: 1. I could have driven away the same day in one of the cars in stock at my dealer. But those cars missed some of the "must have" options. 2. select a "port car" - that would take about two weeks to get it. Dropped that option for the same reason as above. 3. specify my own. |

I agree, you always have to specify your own! Otherwise it is not your car!
No Mpack? Have the HUD myself and love it! Hope you don't regret..... |

FINALLY!!
This morning she arrived at my dealer, 3 weeks earlier than expected! Nine weeks from order to delivery. I immediately rushed over and found my baby outside the recond area, dirty as hell. Covered in road salt that had dried, the paint felt like coarse sand paper... The silver grilles and the winter tires, Continental ContiViking Contact 6, on 18" rims w OEM TPMS, were already mounted on the car. Summer tires was just about to be cleaned, P-Zeros on 19" rims. Now the detailers will do their magic and on Tuesday 23:rd, day before Christmas at 8.30 am, it is time for pickup. Cheers guys, and Happy Holidays! Here's some grainy pics from when we met for the first time... |

Christmas came even earlier.
Some other dude's car was supposed to be detailed before mine but it didn't show up in time so they did mine instead so I was able to pick it up yesterday evening Okay, first impressions: Coming from a 2010 5-series, the X4 is smooth, quiet and very, very comfortable. The sports seats with the fabric/leather combo is great. I love it so far. |

My car was supposed to be delivered to me yesterday but was delayed to the dealer by some days. Now they promised me to "wrap it up as a christmasgift" on the 23rd. About detailing. The 900 km salty highways from the port in Halmstad must really have messed up the car. Why do the transport brand new cars in open trailers on salty messy roads ?? Congrats on your new car!

I would think it would be a downgrade from the 5er, would be interested to hear your thoughts comparing the two.
