If the wheel/tire combo wasn't so damn small this would be a nice car. It just looks like you are driving one of those low riders with 13" rims compaired to the body. I'll stick to the Q5.

So.. you'll be sticking to an inferior car just because the wheel/tire combo on the test car Fifth Gear drove?

Change the diameter of the wheels/tires then you'll have to change the speedo.

all the wheel/tire combo's for the X3's are tiny if they offered 19" or 20" with some 55-60 sidewalls then we would look normal. but 20" rims with 35 sidewalls again makes it look like a huge body on tiny car wheels.

Very Good Gas Mileage

I get very good gas mileage from my 2011 X3 28i - 3 liter petrol - 6cyl engine,
typically 23 mpg(8liter/100km) on hwy and 29 mpg (10 liter city) with Canadian 91 octane.
It feels solid when you drive it.
