F25 N55 X3 Resonator Delete

Anyone one have personal experience removing the resonator? saw some videos of N55 335i making some insane pops and burbals. Anyone have a similar outcome with an X3? What was the cost just to have the resonator removed?

Resonatoer Delete

I had both of my resonators' removed. Went to a custom muffler shop I used in the past with my Rover and M Class. Had them cut out and welded in a straight pipe. Big difference in sound for the positive. A little bit of a 'drone' at highway speeds, but nothing you cannot live with.

Here’s one you can bolt on and if you don’t like it you can switch it back.

Any burbals? More noticeable than stock burbals?

How about only muffler delete ?

I am looking for more sound, but not too loud.

Both resonator delete seems a lot ?

I was looking at 2 options;

1st option (cheapest one)
Muffler delete

2nd option (custom quad exhaust)
1 resonator delete

What you guy's think ?

From my newfound discoveries: Leave the stock resonator to prevent drone, install a VRSF catless downpipe and get a quad exhaust (Remus or super sprint).

I installed a Catless dp last weekend and the exhaust is much throatier and only a bit louder. I'd imagine that a quad exhaust would help project the new throatier noise.

Option 3:

Prior to getting Remus, I was going to do a muffler delete and have custom dual vibrant ultra quiet resonators in place of the muffler with custom quad tips. Keep the resonator.

I wouldn't get rid of the stock muffler, it helps prevent parachuting substantially.
