Windscreen & foglight issues
Guys,
I have been annoyed at my windshield / windscreen since day one... The passenger side glass is distorted, and anything you look at through the windscreen is distorted slightly. It is a wave effect in the lower half of the passenger side. Thanksfully, I pointed this out to BMW on the first service and they have agreed it is freaky and will replace the windshield under warranty. I should have made the wife take it in sooner. On the foglight - some rogue rock shattered the fog light (one of the adaptive lights). The light still worked, but the glass was shattered like a bullet had hit it. Bugger. You cannot replace the cover glass. $400 to replace the module!

Re broken fog light... I had three fog lights break on my previous accord. Honda charged around $280 for a simple non-active replacement (if I recall correctly ). Ebay replacements were dirt cheap albeit of lesser quality but from a distance nobody could tell.
$400 seems reasonable for active foglight.
