option 840 "840 Topsnelheidsregeling / réglage vitesse de pointe" ?

Hi,

Anyone knows what this option is about, I couldn't find a lot of information about it and my dealer couldn't bring some light on this topic eather

It's Option 840: 840 Topsnelheidsregeling / réglage vitesse de pointe

Free translated it would be something like: Top speed configuration

Thanks!

Sounds like the speed limiter. Perhaps the increased top speed associated with the sport package?

Indeed, I saw this is normally linked to the sport package, do you know what this does?

To my knowledge the only thing it does is raise the limiter's cut-off, so you can go faster.

In the US it is supposed to raise it from 130 to 150. I have only been up to 123mph so I can't say for sure

My factory tires are V rated (149mph). Guess I need to really try them out.
