High-pitched squeal when using auto-hold feature?

Does anyone else get a very high-pitch squeal from the driver's side of the car when using the auto-hold feature?

At first, I thought it was just my ears ringing, but I did some audio recordings this evening, and I've confirmed 100% that there is a 14.8 kHz sound that only occurs when using auto-hold.

I confirmed this by recording audio in the car using my iPhone Voice Memos app, then performing a FFT spectrum analysis on the recordings.

I'd be curious to know if anyone else has heard this noise.

Nope no noise here when I use auto hold.

Sounds like your parking brake is sticking.

It's not brake squeal. The car is stationary when it happens. It sounds far more like an DC motor speed control; diode squeal.

I can feel/hear when the brake is be applied but not once it is set.
