Any help much appreciated
I’ve read lots of threads about dashcam installs and fitted my BlackVue front and rear cameras with the power running to the rear fuse box - I had to run the cable for the rear camera anyway so this made sense.
I am not using the power magic box as there’s a lot of people saying they cause problems with errors about low voltage in the car. I really don’t need the parking mode anyway - I really just want it on when I’m driving.
This is where the problem is. I’ve tried several different fuses to piggy back on in the rear fuse box but everyone seems to be permanently live. I tried several of the accessories fuses but they also seem to be permanently live. I’ve seen other posters find the accessories fuses are not permanently live in the glovebox but I would have to re-do the install.
So as a last ditch, does anyone please know any fuse in the rear box which is not permanently live?
