Head restraint adjustment
I have a 2014 X3 35i. My wife's passenger side head restraint it too far back. The owners manual says this:
"Distance Adjust the distance so that the head restraint is as close as possible to the back of the head. If necessary, adjust the distance by adjusting the tilt of the backrest." No pictures or explanation on how to do this. I can only adjust it up or down. No tilt or front to back adjustment that I can find. Does anyone know how to do this? I don't want to try and force it. Thanks

You can't adjust the headrest forward or back, only up or down. What the manual is trying to say is that it wants you to move the seat back (the part your back rests on) to a more forward position therefore bringing the headrest closer to the head.
