[DUI Elite]

Is there a way to add an audio input 2.5 mm socket to my 2004 X3? I have the BMW Business CD but not the aux input option.

I'd like to have one so that I can play my ipod through the speakers / stock head unit.

Maybe even eventually get one of the bluetooth devices to connect my iPad wirelessly.

You may be out of luck. The early business CD did not have this upgrade option and I seem to recall 2004 being the cutoff year.

If you hit the "no aux" list then "Plan B" would be to install a DICE unit - will provide iPod interface and 3.5mm AUX interface on the same box. This uses the CD changer interface to connect to the head unit.

Yeah I think the DICE unit is my only option

Just did a little research, and the DICE unit is stupidly easy to install. I prepped the X3 for it so all I need to do is install the unit / connect it. I think I might go ahead and order it tomorrow.
