So my 2016 X3 was diagnosed with an oil pan leak, was quoted a fortune for the fix but whatever, I just had it done.

In order to fix this, they had to remove the whole front of the car, steering rack, front suspension, front dif, everything.

Problem is that after the repair, the car pulls slightly to the right, or the steering wheel is not perfectly centered, I don't know how to explain.

Do I need to go and have the wheel alignment done since they removed the whole front of the car or did they mess things up? They already closed and I can't call until next week.

They will need to align the car after dropping the subframe. They should do it no charge.

hm thanks, cunts I guess, I had it done yesterday, it's all good now. For the bag of cash I dropped at the shop I would have expected as much...

this is correct, this was a requirement after this work was done. You're alignment is fucked now. they would have known this as well.

They even said they took the car out for a test drive to check if everything is ok, yeah right...

the funny thing is.. test drive or not.. even if the car didn't pull the alignment was still off. impossible for it not to be.

I hope you shopped around for better pricing. Regardless it'll be a costly repair due to all the parts that have to come off… glad you fixed it after all.
