seff5677,

I didn't order the heated steering wheel on my MSport. Living in socal, don't need it. :-)

In terms of the 2015 X3 model, can anyone point out what the LCI changes are in the vehicle's rear end? Only the front headlights get a significant update.

Page 1 of this thread gives you a rundown of the changes.

The rear bumper has a less uniform shape to it - and the "metallic" trim is more pronounced on the xline model.

The tailgate is now powered and has a convenience opening function on non-Msport models (not sure if this is region specific but powered tailgate is now standard in the UK, along with standard nav, DAB radio and heated front seats which were all extras before)

Thanks for the reply, TuffLittleUnit. From the back, without Xline, it's very hard to tell if the model is 2015 or 2014 on the streets...

I find it great, when I get a chance to drive it.
A picture below. I'll try and post some more once I've put the roof rack on.

Placed an order for a 2016 X3 xDrive28i M Sport for the wife, will be taking delivery sometime within the next week or two. I definitely like the LCI changes. BMW Sales guy said that BMW will be completely redoing the X3 sometime within the next couple years. Curious to see what they come up with next!

Can anyone confirm if the LCI X3's get the sport transmission standard?

We have a 2014 28i M-sport that has the non-booted shift lever, but we have paddles since it's an M-sport.

Our loaner today has the different shifter (It's a 328i though) and a much snappier transmission feel to it. Must be totally different software?

Our X3's shifter on the left, the ones online when I build have the one on the right.

Thanks!
