BMS Tune

I installed the BMS box and I cant say I noticed anything. Also I did a timed run with the dynolicious app and got a 14.4 in sport + with AC off on a cool night. I was expecting 13's as this is supposed to run 14.1 stock based on Edmunds. Any one else have this tune??

interesting, I don't have the tune myself but I was considering it. They claim almost 50 hp gain which should be noticeable. I may have to reconsider getting this tune. Have you tried contacting BMS?

Yes they told me to do back to back runs, I should have but I never did. The way I see it whats the point? 14.4 is slower than stock. My friend has a real GTECH so maybe I will wait to see what it does on that, maybe the iphone is off even thou people say its pretty accurate.

You got the JB3 box? I've noticed the new instructions say not to hook up the last wire on the turbo wastegate solenoid, but I've noticed when I don't have that hooked up I don't feel a difference. When I hook that last wire up it feels quite a bit more powerful. You'll also want to make sure that the tune is enabled and everything, did you get the USB cable with it? Plug it in to your computer and make sure the correct map is selected.

This guy is selling his to to get a new setup but he is claiming his 0-60 times dropped to 5 seconds flat which is pretty good.

This is what I have:
N55 Stage 1

I did not receive any cable with it. Also I did not hook the last wire as mentioned above, the install instructions say not too..

I've had this installed for almost a year. There is no doubt more torque is made with this installed; no possible way it is slower unless something isn't working right. I've hooked up all four wires as originally that was the instructions, they've since changed it to just the first 2.

You mentioned you didn't hook up the last wire, but I don't show anywhere saying to install 3 wires, I show just the first 2. I'm no expert, but I'd either go with instructions of just first 2 wires and try it, or do all 4 and try it.

I will say that I have gotten a check engine 2 times following extended full throttle runs; I've got a code clearer so just clear it, but I think this is why they say just the 1st 2 wires. No limp mode or driving issues with CEL, but light did come on.

Still wish Cobb would create flash option for X3 as this way much more conveniant and smoother on my old 135i, but this tune does work on X3, at least with all 4 wires as I've done; I'll try just the first 2 at some point and report back.

I also got a CEL when all 4 wires were hooked up, doing the first two and the last one (skipping the third) was the sweet spot for me.

I also wish someone would create a full flash option for us, I would do that in a heartbeat.
