Sport seats uncomfortable

I drive a UK Sport model and I find the driver seat a bit uncomfortable..

I often find myself resting more on the left bolster than in the middle which obviously is a tad tiring and after a while it becomes a rather unpleasant experience.

It is as if the seat is slightly biased towards the right and to compensate for the misalignment i lean more towards the left.

Anyone else with this problem ?

I do not have that issue. The seats are very comfortable as far as I'm concerned.

I'm quite happy with the sports seats, although at times I wish that the bolsters extended out a bit farther, and that the seatbelts were 5-point harnesses. Then I go back to normal driving, and I'm quite happy with the seats again.

can't say I've found the sport seats uncomfortable for me.

I drove for about 6 hours, a couple of weeks ago. I think they are very comfortable.

I find the sport seats very comfortable and supportive for long trips.
One caveat, I do take my wallet out of the back pocket on long trips to avoid that pressure point. I have been doing that for years, not just on the X3.

It took me quite a while before I managed to dial in the settings on my seat and get comfortable. I would tweak little things here and there while driving and save it to my memory each time until I finally found a point where I didn't need to press another button. I didn't reach real comfort levels until the last 1/4 of all my adjustments were done (the remaining touches brought me closer to seated bliss). My last adjustment surprised me on how much nicer I felt in the seat, which was bringing in the side bolsters so the seat hugs me around my torso rather than sort of hanging out off to the side.

Just took an 1100 mile trip and the seats are great for my wife and me.

This seems to be the answer to those complaints about the comfort of sports seats. We don't have sports seat (and have no regret about that) but I've seen several threads about lack of comfort of sports seats and in almost every case what it boils down to is playing around with the various adjustments until you achieve the comfort you are after.

Just did 515 miles on an all day trip. No issues with comfort at all.

I thought for a while my seat was biased to the right. Then I found out I wasn't sitting centered when I get in. When I consciously center myself in the seat, the issue goes away. I'm a fairly wide guy and I think I was just sort of leaning up against the bolster on the left side and that caused a right lean. In any event, I find the seat to be very comfortable. My wife has the 328i convertible and it has similar style of seat and no issue there as well. Adjustments are the key!

My sport seats are great. I wish the chair in my living room was a comfortable as these seats are, especially after sitting in them for a long time.

We took a 3500 mile driving trip when our X3 was new and absolutely loved the sport seats. We have no complaint about them.

I'm overweight and I find them comfortable as well. Took some time to adjustment them and get used to.
