Sorry, won't be able to make it today. I have a date with my wife tonight. Also, I normally don't get off work until 5 and get home at 630.

Drag-Strip 1/4 mile against my friend X3 xDrive28i Dinan Stage1
RaceChip Ultimate on Setting D (1 above C which is stock)

Setting E (2 above stock)

I let my Dinan friend drive my car and I drove his and look how much of a different after 50mph RC kicks in so hard even on E, didn't try a higher setting but I will on the next drag-strip run. I will be drag-racing against 35i instead.

Rob, I posted this in the X5 forum, where I first saw yours, but since this is about X3's...

Couldn't get any JB tune cars out? That would have been a great matchup, to have all 3 tunes go head to head.

Haven't seen too many people with the JB tune on these cars?

PS How do the RaceChip maps work? I saw in the video it says he's running a D map or something? Is there documentation on it?

Typically on other tunes, you're supposed to log before you go to the higher maps, and when I asked someone here about if you can log with the RaceChip (like you can with Cobb), they said no. So how do you know if you can move to higher maps and not have timing drops, etc?

Yea not many X3's in NYC and the few we know don't have any tunes.

We did get JB4 M235 which all lost badly to the ECU Flash (EnzoTuned), posted their time slips

I do data-logging with Torque Pro via OBDLINK LX and also I test each setting for a few miles before stomping on it which I did throughout the weekend. Yep there's a RaceChip Video How To on how to increase settings etc. Usually the best way is to have a feel for the car as each car will have a different tolerance. In my case during the winter I took a challenge and was testing each setting for 50-100 miles. C (stock for N20) but B is stock for N55. So the lowest setting on RC is 8 and the highest is 7.
8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F,0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7

at C it equals Dinan levels and at D its already 1% increase, and so on. At 2/3/4 settings was when I was able to match the 35i stock performance. But it has been shown on F with DP does the best balance for long-term & performance.

But I believe the F15 folks can explain better on that regards than I can.
