Car only has 250 miles and scalloping damage on both front tires. Taking it back to the dealer tomorrow to see what can be done. I'm not sure it there is any other damage to bushings, suspension or any other steering components.

Amazing. I'm kind of surprised the dealer didn't catch this before delivery. I'm sure there is a story behind the story with the transport driver or company. What a dissapointment on a brand new 50k vehicle. Good luck, let us know how you make out.

The same thing happened to me with a '95 Mitsubishi 3000GT. They got it fixed after 2 weeks without my new car but I did have long term issues with the car such as noises and odd vibrations. Contributing to the vibrations were 2 out of round rims. They claimed I took RR crossings too fast... Couldn't prove that was caused by the transport issue but they settled and covered one rim replacement.

Great outcome, but there had to be negligence on the part of the transporter. Do they strap them all down by the tie rods? I bet not. The next time it's on a lift, I'd inspect the underbody and suspension carefully, front and rear, to see what else they might have damaged.
I'm glad it worked out for you. It does drive like a dream, doesn't it? |

I've got the same vehicle, but my biggest gripe is the miserable gas mileage I get. I get only 17 in the city and at best 24 on the highway. My average with suburban driving is only 18.0-18.5 mpg!! What do you or others get?

im still on the second gas tank so my car is still showing 14mpg while in the beginning it was showing 11, so it is slowly getting up there. I was getting 17 on my 335 before this so i knew this car was not going to be much better.
