thanks, what style frame did you go with? the four hole?

Thiels are classics! Good luck with the X3 audio tweaks. I think I'll just settle for the stock system for the near future...but might focus on biamping the B&W's! Would love to incorporate some tube magic for the midrange, and SS for low end (currently a lone musical fidelity SS amp is driving them) We have a 40W tubed Jolida (202) integrated amp in the living room (wife-appoved) loved the look of the tubes!). It's driving B&W CM7's and the midrange just oozes out of them. Would love to get that magic with the reference system.

I went with the 4 hole. If your dealer didn't provide them you will have to purchase two metric machine screws. The ones provided with the plates do not work. IMHO the two hole frames look like dealer plates without the logo.

I gave up chasing the audio rabbit a couple of years ago when I moved into my present home and combined my separate audio system and ht system into one. So now I have a Theta Digital front end, Music Hall TT and Sony Bluray into a "baby" Lexicon top of the line Harman Kardon A/V receiver. That's funny you mention tubes. Since I can't stop fiddling, in fact I just recapped my rear ceiling speakers yesterday, I'm really considering picking up a hybrid tube/SS amp from Butler. Liquid midrange of tubes with SS balls. Can't biamp Thiels. A friend has a Jolida out on the east coast and loves it. I'm playing JD Souther "Natural History" right now. If your an older guy like me, it's incredible.

It drives me crazy here in Chicago. Five months now and I'm still getting 11.4 mpg. This is ridiculous. Maybe we're the only ones who actually drive our cars hard enough?

Wow!

I'm getting almost 20mpg from my Jag in town and that's a car with 510hp, a V8 and a supercharger! And I don't drive it gently...

I have one of these ready to go on... as soon as I get my registration issue for my permanent tag resolved (a whole 'nother story for another time). I figure with the M Sport, one has a right to pose a little. Mine is actually all black - no chrome around the logo. Will look nice I think on the Alpine White M Sport with all that black trim.

Cbobfoto, your color combo of Space Grey with Mojave and dark wood trim is beautiful! Love how subtle yet stunning it looks! Wish I could see the colors in person (both in mojave and space grey). Also love the White and the V Red and carbon black but not sure how they would look with the mojave interior... Does anyone here have any of those combinations?

As much as I love the mojave, it would be a huge leap of faith to order without having seen it in person.
