Center caps corroding
My X3 is 3 years old and as of recent, I noticed all of the center caps on the rims are corroding. Anybody else having any issues with theirs?

I saw that. My rims are fine but my caps are corroding around the edges.

If you're in warranty then ask the dealer to replace them. If you're out of warranty they appear to list for $14.75 each, but they can be found for less. The part number for my 308 wheels is 36136783536. Your part number may be the same.

Thanks for the info! I'm still under warranty so I'll have the dealer replace them this time. If I need them down the road, now I know where to go. I have 309's on mine, so I'll just have to double check on the part number.

Centre caps corroding
Hi, I have the same issue on my 2013 F25 X3 2.0D M Sport and also the front bonnet badge is affected.
The car is in on Monday to have all 5 badges replaced under warranty, no questions asked, so suspect that this is a known issue. Incidentally my daughter has a 9 year old X5 and that still has all the original badges so its possible that cheaper/inferior products are now being used ? |
