X3 Blind Spot Mirrors

Wanted to pass this along to my fellow F25 owners. Our F25 became a G01 and it has BSM, but we love these custom blind spot add ons and would have loved them even more in the F25.

Our previous X3 was an LCI and despite not having the light on the mirror, the mirror looks to be the same size and shape.

Here it is on the newer G01

Here is the view! I do the 'proper' mirror placement where it is pushed well out to not see any of the vehicle or cars behind me in the side mirror. Where I can always see a passing car and never lose them from the center mirror to the side mirror, there is still a huge dead area and this fills it in and helps my wife a lot with parking.

I found aspherical Euro style mirror for the F25, on eBay for $119. I'd prefer OEM parts if I was to upgrade the side mirrors. It's been worth it long-term in my experience.

Aspherical look clean for sure!! IMO it is a bit different view and driving experience. I've had both over the years and I have come to like just part of the drivers mirror being convex vs loosing total depth perception!

Yes, first found about these through my i3 on a FB i3 group and Amazon.

The really nice thing about these is that on the higher vehicle they shifted them to the bottom. The i3 is up on top and the view is great. But being up higher, these went low and you have a commanding view of the rear tire, curb and lines for parking. I love that vs seeing lots of pretty blue sky!

I tried these but did not fit the electrical connections on my 2011 X3 with heated mirrors

As someone who doesn't have a built in blind spot monitoring, these are a great solution!
Do these effect the features of the side mirrors like the auto dimming and heated feature?

Not at all! Our F25 is gone and I now have these on a 2018 G01. If you see my original picture, these mirrors are heated, dimming and have the blind spot monitors all integrated. These work great and you don't get glare from the convex.

Actually silly BMW went cheap and I posted the passenger side. On our older BMWs both were dimming. Now BMW just does the drivers side but no problemo you can see the different rim around drivers vs passenger dimming vs just heated...
