2013 MY cars - UK 7 digit postcode entry

Can anyone with a MY2013 UK car tell me if it is straightforward/intuitive to use the full postcode entry when using pro nav?

Have BMW made it as simple as a TomTom or is it all a bit of a faff?

Thanks

Having only had mine for 24hrs I would say that using the 7 digit post code is straight forward, couple of clicks and away you go.

Not touch screen as Tom Tom but just as simple really.

Excellent, thanks Had downloaded the MY2013 owner's manual but the instructions have obviously made it sound more complicated than it is.

Use the 'send to car' feature on Google maps for entering destinations, thats the best method - provided you plan before you leave!

Entering address data on a TomTom is hard work the touchscreen is nothing like an iFone.

This method is excellent and will be waiting in the cars 'office' ready to go.

Have used the postcode entry a few times now and it is easy to use, if a bit long winded. Have finally got my Connected Drive account up and running so might try a Google send to car to see how it works.
