Couple of quick questions....

Are individual tire pressures displayed or just a warning light when one of the sensors detects a low reading?

The 3.5i comes with an 8spd auto? There were a couple of websites that listed it as a 6spd.

Is it possible to get the silver front bumper lip with the M package?

Re Auto - I think all X3 Autos use the amazing 8 speed box, which is as economical as a manual.

Ours show individual tires that may be low but not the exact PSI unfortunately.

All US bound X3s come with a ZF sourced 8 spd automatic

Is there a code to display the individual pressures?

Interesting because the turbo 6 X1s have a 6spd auto apparently.

Individual tire pressures can be displayed if you know how to 'code' the car otherwise the computer just displays green for each tire indicating OK.

From what I've read the X1s are still based on the dated E90 platform and as such inherited the older 6spd auto.

Believe me, the 8spd is much better in almost all aspects. It is lighter, shifts quicker and offers greater efficiency.

+1 the 8speed is light years different to that on the E8x and E9x platforms

The N20 equipped X1's in Canada have the 8spd auto.

You know that the X3 is also based on the E90 platform, right? It uses a modified version of the E90's chassis and suspension with a completely different interior and exterior design philosophy so BMW can call it an F-series car.

Even the old X3 was based off of the E46.
