SPORT drivetrain...?

Have a '13 28i here---US spec, no M sport pkg

I have Eco pro, normal and sport modes.

I really like the way the car handles and takes the road in SPORT mode, but always manually shift the car to conserve fuel here.

Is there a way to change it so that the SPORT mode setting changes the steering and drivetrain feel, without changing shift points and throttle response?

I have esys and have coded my car, but if this is more than just coding (if it can be done) I may just have to keep shifting manually!

You can customize it from your i-drive menu.

Please elaborate. I've played with the idrive quite extensively but haven't stumbled upon how to do this yet. Thanks.

US spec car, with no M-sport, and I have the 28i engine.
No customization available here.

You would need dynamic damper control to do this. On the 28i, it is only available as part of the M Sport package, I believe. I have DHP (which includes damper control) on my 35i, which lets me set the dampers and steering to Sport, but leaves the drivetrain on normal.

i ordered the m sport package on my 28i and came out with sport sup delete =.=.

i was wondering if i still could get the DHP if i complained to BMW NA?
Is it a software thingy to make the suspension adjustable? or they would have to install the sport suspension to make it work?

Nop,

Dynamic damplers are part of a 'package'.

Good luck with that any way.

What about the Electronic Damper Control? Is that a full time enabled feature?

Lol I just want to adjust my dampers only >_>.

I used to have the 2012 35i barebones and came with normal, sport ( adjustable susp ), sport ++

I kinda never complained about my current 13 having without the sport+,
Chicks riding on my car like the smoothness of the car, it felt like riding in a limo lol.

Note, all X3 M-Sports in NA have the Sport suspension delete by default. And as what others mentioned, DHP needs hardware not just software to work.
