Hi Guys, i need some advice on a used X3, i am pretty new to the car and need some insights. I am on the usual dealer sites and the pricing are all over the place. I found this:

What do you guys think of the pricing?

Looking specifically for the 35i for the power.

Personally, I have seen some 2014's X3's in the high thirties, low forties near me(NY). I think you can do better, if you browse around more, do some more research. Can you spend a little more? I would recommend something with lower mileage. Again IMO.

Can't comment on the price but it does make me feel good about our 2011 35i. With it being CPO you can figure and additional $2k was added right off the bat.

For what it's worth we love our 2011. Little more utilitarian than the 2014s but still gets the job done. Had a 2014 loaner recently and it was really nice. Lots has changed between 2011 and 2014. The 2014 felt like it was dressed up a bit nicer, had more lipstick on or something. More luxurious if you will.

I live in Devon UK and our dealer is Ocean (and very good they are too!)

Cant comment on the price but do agree about the 2014 LCI - lots of nice small differences (and the new Diesel engine is even better).

take your time when your shopping you may find something better..go visit the dealer sometimes pics hide alot of things.. good luck

dealer might of tagged it up $5k-$8k, if you can get the dealer to reduce it lower then maybe. You need to include the taxes and apr which will jack up the price $40k+.

You are better off getting newer model with less mileage.

dealer gave me 25k for 2012 x3 28i...i can say it was excellent condition with 33k miles. they were asking for $33k when the x3 was listed for sale.

i found a few 2014 low miles and pretty ok price but they are loaner fleets for sale.. not sure if that is a good idea?

loaners get beat up, dents, scratches, spill fluids on the interior...

FYI I got a CPO (6yr / 100k mile warranty) 2011 X3 xdrive35i with 28k miles at the end of September for $34.8k with the following options:

spot activity package with upgraded wheels
Power Tailgate
Xenon Headlights
Cold Weather Package
Premium package
Technology package

Trust me, deals are out there, you just need to wait for them. I literally refreshed the search page on BMW's website, cars.com and auto trader for at least a month before this one popped up. I know I called them the minute the car was listed because the previous refresh didn't show the ad yet lol.
