Oil dripping charge pipe
Does anyone have an idea of where the oil pictured is coming from? I think that is the charge pipe on the driver side of the engine. I can trace it up to where it connects below the intake manifold but can't get a mirror and light in enough to see where it's coming from.

Valve cover gasket or oil filter housing would be my best guesses

OFHG is good and valve cover appears good 360. Can this be blowby? I read in other N55 forums that blowby can force oil into the intake, to the throttle body and weeps out of the oring connection where the throttle body and charge pipe connect.

Theoretically, yes it is possible. Unlikely though in your case. There would be a clear stream from the throttle body, which is not visible. In addition, if you had that much blow-by, there would be a much more significant issue to address here.

Yeah... that's too much to be normal blow-by.

It can also leak/weep past the vacuum line that connects before the throttle body. Might be worth buying some better O-rings, hardparker had a thread on the F30 side discussing this.

I'll check the vacuum line when I upgrade the Orings, would it be worth upgrading the charge pipe as well to aluminum? |
