Anybody here with CIC and Mr12Volt Carplay module?

Hi,
I have a 2013 BMW X3 F25 and recently installed a CarPlay module from Mr12Volt:

I have the issue that when I'm in CarPlay mode and using my iDrive controller to navigate through CarPlay and iDrive commands (spin and select) are still forwarded to CIC which causes weird behaviors in the background.

Has anybody installed the same module and some tips?

just fyi I have a small screen 2013 F25 (no navigation) with CIC interface, but it needed NBT unit and connectors (6 pin LVDS).

I did not use the same unit unfortunately.
