Need tires for my X3

I have a 2011 X3 with Bridgestone Dueler HL400 RFT tires. I need new tires, wanting to try something different but not finding many options in my size. 245/55/R17. I want to keep runflats as my wife drives the car more than I do. I am bummed they don't make the Michelin Primacy MXM4 ZP anymore. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Not sure why you can't find the duelers, tirerack have them for your size. You can always get 225/60r17. It's pretty much the same tire specs. I have 18, but use 225/60r17 for winter tires.

I can find the Duelers, I just want something different. Was really hoping for a run flat Michelin but they don't seem to make them in my size anymore

Most people here swear by tirerack. If nothing else you should be able to get a good feel for available options by searching the web site. if you don't want to do the mail order thing you can probably spec out what you like and have a local tire shop order and install them for you. There are several good threads about the options on this forum, as well as information about kits you can use with non run flat tires to limp to a safe place in case of a puncture. If have the much hated Goodyear Eagle LS2 run flats and I paid big for them because I was forced to get them at a local Goodyear shop at the last minute. They are OK, about average. I will be satisfied if I get reasonable wear.
