There was $2400 in paint damage from his claws!! Fortunately not a BMW!! Insurance paid all by the $200 deductible. He was super-afraid, for sure.

What tires did you end up going with? Did you purchase them through the dealer or somewhere else? My dealer is going to swap my 308's for 309's this week. They are coming with the LS2's. Wondering if I should locate some other tires so I can swap them right away. Did you have any problems with them on the loaner or are you just concerned about the reports? How were they on wet roads? Also considering keeping the LS2's and buying 18" wheels with snow tires. |

Let me know how they turn out...I had my choices narrowed down to the DWS or the P-Zero Nero A/S. I went with the Neros because they were rated slightly higher in dry handling/steering response. Also, I had heard the DWS have softer sidewalls, and they came in a 98 load rating. The Neros had a 102 XL load rating, which is the rating of the stock tires. I thought this might be a better fit for the X3 than the DWS...but I would still like to know how they work for you. It was a very, very tough decision.

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes I did order the HUD. I do not take delivery for a couple more weeks so, not sure how it will work. Hope you are enjoying your X3
