2007 x3 satellite radio issues

For years the SAT radio has a terrible broadcast in terms of in/out reception. I can be driving anywhere and it will continually go in/out saying "acquiring signal." Has anyone had this issue and resolved it? Thank you in advance for your insights!

I'm in NJ. It is a Sirius receiver installed in 2006 when I got the vehicle.

I have major issues with mine as well. I replaced the antenna with a black Sirius one and I have the same issues.

Going to the dealer for to ask for a new Sirius module in the trunk.

I work for Sirius/XM. I cant say why but XM will always sound and tune in better. So if you can get an aftermarket XM tuner--you will be happier guaranteed.

My '08 X3 does the same thing & i'm in Southern California. It drives me crazy...my old car I had a serius receiver put in, iyt was awesome, when i changed the channel the signal would immediately come in. My wifes Honda has a factory installed XM receiver, never any delays, tunes in immediately. In the X3 it takes a few seconds; sometimes it will stop working for a couple of days. BMW & Sirius say its not them, I don't get it
