Looks good! Very nice.

Maybe it's too early to say, but has the change in plastics along the dash (maybe more so around the sat screen and centre air vents) helped reduce the plastic creaky noise you get when going from hot to cold? i.e. putting on aircon whilst the interior is hot.
It's a strange question I know, but just wondering whether the change has helped to eliminate what can be quite noticeable on the original F25.

No experience with this yet, so will have to watch for it... Thanks for the heads-up.

No idea - not familiar enough with other X3s that have the cubby you're talking about. Anyone have a picture of that?

Grabbing at straws, but I know in Canada there is a "Storage Compartment Package" that we didn't order. Perhaps its a part of that?

I have a litte cubby hole left of the steering wheel. Pretty basic but can take a picture if needed.

It looks like there's an outline of it but they didn't install it. I put my sunglasses in mine, its directly left of the steering wheel. You can sorta see the handle in one of my old pics.

Chrome Foot rest

Hi bentyyc
Is the chrome footrest a standard item or is it an aftermarket item?
If aftermarket any idea where one can be obtained?

That last pic of the red X3 belongs to "BMW FINALLY!" on this forum. I do not believe the footrest is stock. Perhaps you can PM him?

Would you mind letting me know what options I need to choose the instrument cluster you have (i.e., LED display across the length of the gauges)? Nav and something else?

Thanks.

I believe, at least in the US, that little cubby you're referring to is dependent on a package that you do NOT order rather than a specific cubby enabling package. Meaning, if you order Drivier Assistance Plus, that cubby is NOT present. I'm assuming certain additional electronics/components occupy the space instead. You'll notice, some of the people with M-Sport and Cold Weather, who cannot have the Driver Assistance Plus, will have the cubby pictured. I'm basing my assumptions on my experience with the current 3-series and guessing that the logic is the same for the X3.

It also appears that Canada has some differences that I cannot speak for certain about.

This statement is congruent with my situation.

Well, as we're learning, there are some differences country-to-country. FWIW, I do have Nav. I honestly thought what you're describing is just "standard" for 2015...
