Just ordered this morning!

Now, they have my car for over a week.
My local dealership sucks balls.
I have been taking hours off work to make trip to dealership and back, wasted a lot of my precious vacation time and opportunity to make more money at my job.
Now, I’m paying shit loads of money on this SUV, and I can’t enjoy it.
Good luck! Just ordered my 2016 X3 this morning, trading in my X1, great car just too small. I love my dealership here in WNY. Where is your dealer?

That noise is the slip ring, new one is around £100 and takes 15 minutes to fit.

They should have sorted that straight away.

Yeah, they replaced it, but then the heated steering button which is plugged into that slip ring doesn't work. That's what they're trying to fix now.

I bet they haven't plugged the cable back in, or put the wrong slip ring on.

A call to BMW NA for a new vehicle is necessary! You should complain at the fact this happened and how long you have not been able to drive your brand new car. Also include the fact about depreciation. Escalate and make sure you repeat bringing in a lawyer and lawsuit. I feel bad for you man! Hope it gets sorted soon. Also go to a different dealer.

Don't ever go to that dealership again!

Lets all please do our part and never visit this dealership also and post the review here on Dealer section.

You read my mind. That's exactly what I thought.

They replaced the slip/clock spring 3 times. Nothing worked. Finally, they replaced the heated steering switch and everything works fine now. Simple fix and they kept the car for 10 days. When the heated steering button doesn't light up, I thought 1st thing is to check if the leds burnt out or the switch is plugged in properly. Common sense!! Instead they kept switching the slip rings.

As for the dent, they will review the picture they took when I brought the car in tomorrow morning. Let's see how it goes.

it happens often believe it or not...thats why its important to inspect before you drop it off and before leaving their property.

It happen to me, currently have x1 as a loaner. My rear bumper had 2 dents and yellow paint. I had order the grey panel on the rear bumper some1 hit me while i was at light, minor scuff marks and few chips.

So when i picked up the car from service dept, drove down the block to bmw bodyshop to get panel install. Manager at bodyshop told me your bumper is damage, if i can remember the bumper wasnt damage cuz i didnt order new bumper. He told me go back to service dept show them. I did, now they are paying for repairs. Pics taken the day i dropped off the car show there was no damage.

Not delivery. It happened after my car stayed there in the shop for 10 days.

How they capture everything? I'm not surprised if they come back to me and telling me they didn't capture that side of my car.

Holy cow. That's terrible. I would demand a new car by now. God knows how long they will take to fix this. And what else will go wrong after you pick up the car again. I've been to the service only once for a flat tire and never again will I go back. Everyone just looks really shady there. Sad to see crap like this happen. I really hope it's a lease.
Lesson learned! Don't ever go to LIFE QUALITY BMW in BROOKLYN!
A blind monkey can do a better job!
Good luck.

Demand a new car from BMW NA and state that the car will never be the same, depreciation and how it has ruined your new car experience.
