OEM tires

When I was looking at a 2014 x3 28i it had Eagles on it. The 2013 I bought had Pirelli's on it. Anyone know which tire is OEM?

To allow the purchasing department to have room for negotiation, normally there are two or three tires/tyres that are OK:d for each and every model.

To the OP. If you are looking to replace your tyres with run flats, then the choice is easy. Stick with any that have the "*" rating, as these have been approved for BMW

The 18's come with either the Goodyear LS-2 or the Pirelli P7, so both are OEM. The P7 is a much better tire in almost every respect. IMHO!

Hi All,

Just got my Xline 30d in March this year with 18" 605 rims on; it has 245/50R18 100W Dunlop SP SPORT MAXX GT's fitted from the factory. They seem OK in the cold weather we have been getting of late, will have to see how they are in the balmy summer heat we will be getting soon!

Almost got a set of 2x Pirelli P Zero 19's * rated off Amazon for £120 delivered, but they realized there mistake and sent me some Yukohamas instead. By the time they had been returned, they put the price back up.... *******s

If anyone (in the UK) gets any good deals on a new set of staggered 19s Pirelli PZeros * rated, do let me know, I'm down to around 3.5mm, so wanting to get them replaced during the summer.

Have you tried event tyres online. I got a quote from them and the rears were around £200, whilst the fronts were circa £180. I have the same setup as you
245/45/19 front
275/40/19 rear
The email said that was the price fitted and balanced, so i'm inclined to go with that when my tyres need replacing. Whatever or wherever yo go, i don't see the total cost being less than £900-£1000 for a complete set

I've got a saved quote online for £750 fitted for our Staggered setup using the Pirelli pzero * tyres. That price also includes Advanced balancing.

Mine are down to about 3.5mm at the moment, so I'm looking to get them done late Summer. In the meantime, I'm keeping an eye out for cheaper.
I'm 100% sticking with the Pirelli Runflats, not many other choices that offer the same mileage, noise levels and grip.
