Removing rocker panels on doors

Does anyone know how to remove the plastic rocker panels on the outside of each door? Is there a better way of doing it? I know there are clips but is it easier to start form one end than the other? Can you pull on one clip then slide it off? Just curious as I want to remove them for a project. Thanks!
