Hi All,

I wanted to ask if anybody has the same experience as me regarding the HUD?

Is it normal to sometimes get quite a bit of glare from the actual HUD unit when in certain positions in the sun? As the plastic around the unit is like a shiny black hard plastic it seems to reflect quite severely into the windscreen. Also seems that the actual screen reflects a thin shiny stripe across the windscreen in certain positions...

Is there a fix for this? OR can one remove the HUD if one does not really use it and replace it with a dash cover?

You could try to lay a piece of matte finish clear sheet goods over it to see if the glare issue goes away.



My issue with the HUD is I can't see it at all when I have my polarized glasses on which is anytime it's sunny.
