X3 2.0d MSport Delivery
My first post sorry if its in the wrong place. Been told my spec has now been locked down and i'm awaiting Vin and production number. So whats the best PCP around to pay as BMW Birmingham are wanting £10k over the price of the car if you buy it at the end. Has anyone found a good PCP deal? How long does it take to reach once it goes into production. Only just started driving a BMW after 4 Audi A4's. RIchard

Can I ask when you ordered your x3 in February might give me an idea of when mine will go into production as well. As mine ordered in same month.

Mine was 23rd Feb so hopefully soon. Managed to get a good quote for finance as well from independent broker. This waiting game is frustrating but also very expensive. Hope you get your car soon.

Just confirmed - In build with delivery last week September.
No more hypothesising over the config or considering posponing for an N20 (215hp) - it's done now. As a guide it looks like wait time for Feb 20d orders is around 31 weeks. I say again |

Yippee, Deal emailed me today to say I have VIN number and car in production. How do we track the cars to the UK. Tried to track on USA web site but it doesn't work?

Warning. Tracking my X3 across the ocean became very addictive to the point where I got worried if the ship hadn't reported in in the last 24 hours!

My X3 was ordered in April, I've just been informed that I can pick it up a month early on Sept 9th. It had already been pulled forward from Jan 2012 to Oct 2011.
I'll be driving it home 200 miles so I expect I'll be washing it on the 10th! Snow Foam at the ready.....the joys of a black car. :-)

A bit longer delay with Irene...
Four governors declared states of emergency Thursday as Hurricane Irene threatened to wreak havoc along the United States' Eastern Seaboard.

I know exactly what you mean, but after waiting for 6 months its like father Christmas coming for the kids. Keep entering my VIN number hoping it says its on a ship. Think I'll try again.

Dealer just called to say car now due a week early (VIN emailing to me shortly), should be ready for collection last week of Sept. That is assuming the hurricane doesn't tip the boat over.
Need to update my sig..... although that might tempt fate.
