Charge Pipe Install with mysterious line

Hi everyone, my charge pipe blew up on my 2013 F25 N55 the other day and when I removed my charge pipe, I saw this line that looked like it wasn't hooked up to anything and I can't figure out where it goes. Can anyone help figure out where this line goes?

Can you account for all the hoses that attached to the charge pipes? Look at all the hose connection to it and find them, could it be one that blew off before you started removing things?

That is the breather tube for your front differential. It is extended in order to allow a bit of water fording ability. It is supposed to be uncapped and how it looks on your car is exactly how it should be.

You're awesome. I thought that was the case, but wanted to make sure before buttoning everything back up. You have to be so forceful with the charge pipe to remove it, it made me worried I knocked something off.
