Rear seat base removal
Hi. New owner of x3 and I'm looking to remove my rear seat base to give it a good clean. I've tried simply pulling it up at the front like I have done on previous vehicles but it doesn't seem to want to move.
Is there something I'm missing or can't it be removed? Based in uk but I'm sure they will be the same. Regards Steve |

I don't have an answer, sorry, but can suggest looking at the site "realoem". Find your car in there and then look at the rear seat components. The diagrams are so clear that you might see the attachment method (i.e. clips, screws, whatever and their location).

take a look at NewTis.info site....that's the BMW service reference BMW technicians use as their standard repair reference. I too have owned other Bimmers, they all were simply pull up at front edge of rear seat to remove, tho I've yet to do it on my X3.
