Weird issue with transmission

Does anybody know if this is how it should work or is a a software bug?

Situation is as follows: I stop at a traffic light, car comes to complete stop. Auto-hold kicks in, start-stop kicks in and shuts down the engine. At the same moment the chime sounds and the rectangle around the D is blinking, and so is the led on the gear shifter.

Has anybody ever seen this?

This is the 3rd time that my car has weird software issues and I'm getting fed up with it.

That is weird.

Have you tried switching profiles to see if it isn't something funky with the current profile?

I enabled both auto-start/stop and auto-hold on my way to work today and did not observe this behavior.

Dealership says it's a software issue so they will put new software on the car.

And we're back... There was a fault in the block underneath the gear shifter; they changed the unit and the issue is gone.
