SANK CH: Can you have a look at your dealer? My car was supposed to arrive Trollhattan Monday 8 Days ago - no show. Delayed 3 weeks - probably - as we suspected already from the start- sent to Switzerland.

Hi Tjalle,
Go on the following link WW (the vessel company) and Under Cargo ID put your complete car id (the one with the 17 digits): https://offices.2wglobal.com/offices...uickSearchPage if it gives you no results try do delete the last 4 digits (which are as well the 4 last digits of your VIN codes). It will gives you more results. I, myself did not found me car on it. The latest result that displays, when I clicked on the cargo ID to read the details, shows a quantity of 846 units. But it is not possible to know which cars are listed in this shipment. Here is a picture of the WW routes from USA to Europe You should ask your dealer for the status code. It is the only way to have a idea of where your car is. However in my case it actually did not help me, as if you google "bmw production code 165" you will have results telling you it is on the vessel from USA to Europe, and other results telling you that it left BMW Plant and it is in the harbour waiting for the vessel or on the vessel. I may have more information next Monday. |

SANK CH: Thanks for extensive INFO!
Now I am really worried: - the company responsible for the shipment is Norwegian (Heard about the Poles?) - I know that port of entry for BMW in Sweden is Halmstad - Wallenius does not ship to Halmstad! Probably they reload at Bremerhaven. All possibilities for a screw up! |

I got my X4 30d yesterday, one month earlier that expected
6-cyl diesel engine is soo smooth, and car in general is quite compact which I like a lot. Backside visibility was not a surprise that its not so good, hence rear view camera is recommended for everybody and its picture quality is very sharp. Also I like the comfort access, very good, like it a lot. Looks in live much more masculine than in the pictures |

inamik75: Sorry, we are not United. Luckily, the Norwegians would pay about 50% more than in e.g. Germany - in Sweden we are paying about 20% more than in Germany - partly due to taxes - partly due to BMW Sweden adding some profit

X4 30d base price in Finland is 79k€. My local dealer said that almost all of their X4 are sold with 30d engine (and not the base 20d engine), so seems customers in this market segment are willing to pay a bit more than usually.

Hi Tjalle, that's a good news for you. The end of the wait is in front of you.
My dealer informed me today that the status code did not changed and is still displaying "165" on his system. Which means that the car was not on the Manon Vessel that arrived last Monday in Bremerhaven. There is now two other possibilities: - The Vessel "Independence II" which left Charleston on August 19th and will reach Bremerhaven on Sept. the 1st. - or The Vessel "Don Juan" which left Charleston yesterday and will reach Bremerhaven on Sept. the 9th. The Independence II is cruising near Halifax |

By looking at the picture above, I noticed that the position of the Independence II vessel is dated of August 23rd. The website marinetraffic.com did not updated it since that day. Or is not able to update it position.
So I went on sailwx.info and found today's position of the Independence II. A long swim in direction of the old continent has been already done Here is it last position: |

I recently spent a few hours test driving the X4s (28i and 35i). I really enjoyed the ride quality and unique style of this BMW. The next day I placed my order for a Glacier Silver M Sport 35i. According to my dealer, my X4 will start production in Build Week 39. Can't wait!!!

Got an update today that my X4 3D M is "code 165", which as far as I understood is "transit from the US to Bremershaven". With ETA week 40...
Man, the waiting takes a long time, but we are getting there Will try to figure out later today if I can find back more details on where he is |

mmm,
have been looking into what was posted before, but I am not able to figure it out.....Knowing the car is "born" now, I would expect it to go on the first boat out, so 2 Sept...then Bremershaven on the 15th or Zeebrugge (Belgium) on the 20th. Sank_CH you are far more a specialist in this..... what do you think? I have an appointment for "another" "test drive" tomorrow just to make the waiting any easier...... |
