Considering the new available E-Sys 3.24.2, I have made an attempt to totally update the very first post which was based on old E-Sys 3.18.4.

I will once more review and correct it if any changes are needed and will add Cheat sheet.

Shawn you have helped me before re Nav updates. May I impose upon you to also send links to the necessary software and tutorials please. I am starting from knowing nothing more than I need to purchase a custom ethnernet cable, download the so called E-Sys software, and purchase some sort of activation code for the software.

I only have one real goal for wanting to modify the coding and that is to display tire pressures and temperatures as I think this has some real value to it. Any one tire temperature trending higher than the other tire temperatures is probably a very good early warning of an impending tire problem. I am surprised the software does not already look for this and provide an alarm at some delta threshold. For this alone I decided to go into the coding business. In addition, during the very cold weather last week, the low tire pressure warning came in. Although I was sure it was just an even drop of pressure across all four tires, I still had to manually check tires pressures in -2 degree temps, 35 knot winds, and a lot of snow. It sure would have been nice for the slick machinery on my dashboard to simply have displayed the four pressures.

Displaying digital mph is a nice to have feature but it is the tire parameters that I think are worth the effort.

How do I check NAV version again on a '14 X35i?
Had recent issue with GPS and Radio.. so under warranty Radio and GPS module was replaced as shown on my service ticket. Some of the coding I learn to do with y'alls help is gone.. so I assume some software update or reset was done as well by service department.

I coded my X3 via ESYS ver 3.18.4 .

Dealer applied a SIB upgrade yesterday to correct DME calibration.

All my coding disappeared . Expected.

I wanted to connect via Esys 3.18.4 to read the I-level .

Cannot connect anymore via VIN ( which gets automatically populated does not show up.

Tried Connection via ICOM / Ethernet:" tcp :/ / 169.254.92.38:50160

Connected , but cannot READ FA. "No ZWD data"

Is this expected ?

Do i have to load latest ESYS just to read integration level .?
