Anyone put $$ down on these deals? And what do monthly payments look like?

they can careless about your down payment. these deals are totally independent and stand alone. it only affects the monthly payments (if you want to decrease that is).

We ordered our 2012 quite early...in fact before we even knew what the invoice price will end up being. We got 5.6% discount, rubber mats and wheel locks.
I'm happy with the deal considering that at first they gave us that typical story 'This model is so popular we don't give discounts'...which is such a lie.
I think generally in Canada they don't give such good deals as in US...not only is our base price higher but they won't budge as much. Totally unfair but what can you do...was too big of a wuss to buy across the border.

I am happy with the deal. We have 4 BMW dealers in my area. I had them fight for the business. I remeber reading depending on options you get a free tail-gate $455. inv-. + they have a Loyalty Rebate of 1k in the USA

You can use it toward any option. It covered the cost of Cold Weather Package II for me.

The $500 is the credit for 2012 X3s in the Mission to Drive sales event and can be applied toward closing costs. The $455 is the X3 option credit. Here are some of the details: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=608642

Maybe because the salesman is a friend I got some kind of deal. Or maybe since I already had the power tailgate as a part of Premium Package I could apply it to something else...also, if you order Cold Weather I, it would cover the cost of Cold Weather II, but you have to order Cold Weather I first...

I have a 128i convert that i want to trade with 17k mi. I live in the NE, so assuming that I would get more for a trade on it in the spring, also maybe SUV like X3 more popular to sell in fall winter?

Issue is that i saw $2500 MI credit, which might offset the timing of the trade. What do you think? Try it now, or better to wait until March?

The only Special Offers that I saw on the web site for the X3 were some leasing options. I.e. no $455 tailgate deal and certainly no $2500 MI deal. Where is the tailgate option mentioned?
Also, it was mentioned that the tailgate was part of the Premium package. It looks like it's part of the Convenience package.

thats a really good discount, I think the 35's are getting more discount since the 28s are selling at a 2:1 or better ratio.. they must have 35 engines and parts in SC they have to get rid of.
