Interior color layout questions

So looking for a 2014'ish model and seeing that some of the interior color schemes are different.

Some of the "tan" interiors have a black carpet, dash & lower doors with tan seats and accents (like my z4), and some have a mostly tan seats /doors/carpet (like my old e38)

What am I missing? S vs X ??

No, it's not S vs X. These colors were optional, and sometimes associated with other option or exterior color choices. The beige/black is "Oyster Nevada / Black"

dreamingX3 is correct. The two tone is Oyster/Black, and it is really more of a off-white. The Sonoma Beige is the ALL beige option, carpets, door panels, etc...

I had the Oyster in my first X3, loved it, but you do have to maintain it.

Currently have the Chestnut option which has black carpets/doors/etc, and love that the most out of all of them. A great two tone look, and easy to maintain.

Good luck!

I agree with the comment about Oyster. I have had on two cars and it looks great when clean. Good quality cleaning products used regularly are essential to maintaining the look.
