Trying to find a carbon fiber center console. Having trouble. Has anyone done it yet? If so I will appreciate it if you have some pics.

are you talking about the center stack trim (around the shifter)?

if so, then no, no one has done it.

i’m thinking about getting it CF wrapped (Stek) or doing a legit CF overlay. havent decided.

Yes complete center trim around shifter. I have the black plastic. It scratches so easier and carbon will be sick

yeah ALL the F97/8 LCIs have the piano black plastic. the F97 got the shit end of the stick and has such a low rate interior compared to the G8x, F95, etc. i guess thats the price of being on the parts-bin platform.

that being said i’m hoping to get something done about it soon. i just have to purchase the part and send it off somewhere. i already found the part number but the people ive worked with before (CF wrapping) are unreliable so i have to find someone else. gonna contact someone soon and hopefully get the ball rolling.

i highly considered hydro-dipping or the CF wrap… but something about it getting wrapped seemed off to me for some reason. that being said, both methods these days look very very convincing.
