UK 3.0l vs 2.0l

Having driven the 2l, the 3l looks very interesting. Can anyone confirm the attached contrast (2 to 3) is correct for the UK, based on German sites?

0-60 8.5 v 6.9
Output kW 135 v 190
Mpg combined 50.4 v 47.1
CO2 149g v 159g
STD wheels 17" v 18"
UK road tax £125 v £155.

Anyone else got any comparisons? Advised official UK data on 3.0 due "within weeks". Thanks.

UK 3.0l price

If "marmite" in another thread is right, the next comparison is UK price which seems to be UK 2.0l price plus £6000. It is suggested elsewhere this premium includes the 8speed auto box as well as the bigger engine. Hopefully the extra cost also brings more goodies - standard 18' wheels has been suggested. This would still work out at around £4000 for the extra horse power. Anyone have any more news?

£4k does not sound too bad for the extra power - looks impressive

That was certainly my view, especially, as I would likely buy the additions hinted to come as standard with the 3.0l anyway.

I wonder if there will be a significant difference between the stop/start function between the two engines? When cold, will the 4cyl be more noisy than the 6cyl? Also, will the 6 not take more battery juice to restart? Does this mean more wear

If the 18" tyres are standard on the 3.0l, amazingly that alone might account for part of the poorer mpg, as I think I saw somewhere the larger tyres reduced mpg. If the above figures are right, the 3.0l combined mpg is amazing for the power. Suspect the urban mpg will show a much larger difference to the 2.0l.

Anyone any closer to a UK 3.0l price?
Anyone know if it will be on the same production line as the 2.0l, which would appear to mean August+ delivery?
