What happens if I LC my car without LC

Hello,I'm a new BMW Owner
I have an F25 LCI (2.0d)and out of couriosity I was wondering if I can Launch Control my car if I don't have LC?
I checked via this VIDEO , and I don't have LC
But what can happen if I try to LC even tho I don't have it?

I would presume the same warning (found in the owners manual) would apply regardless of having or not having LC (launch control) programming. Its stressful to the car's components.
