JB Tune install help

So I see the TMAP sensor but where is the second connection you have to make. I don't get this part as the instructions are not that clear. Also where do you put the box on the passenger side? Anyone have any pics?

Thanks Guys

JB4 won't work on the F25, only the JB3.

There are 3 plugs. The first one is on the intake manifold, the second one is best left unplugged (it's the MAF plug just leave the OEM one plugged in and the JB3 one hanging), and the last one plugs into the turbo wastegate. Plug in the first and last ones.

Installed. You have to move the air box out of the way for the second connection. its a pain but once you do it you can make the connection. I have not figured out how to hide the box yet so I zip tied it to the strut brace for now.
Results:
Noticed a good power gain, nothing crazy but well worth $400.
No issues except my Sirius lost its signal and had to call them to send a refresh.

no, only 1 and 2. You only connect the last 2 furthest from the box. The first 2, blue and purple I believe are not used

Yes I'm sorry, there are 4 not 3. The first two are used, you leave #3 off, and you plug in the fourth as well. If you don't plug in the last one you aren't running any extra boost.

Sorry, been a while since I did this install.

Good instructions and photos of everything in the install PDF.

I don't think the above is correct: see part 4 per the instructions on page 9 for x3:

535 F10, X3, F30, and X5 Stage 1 models:
Installation is the same as above with the following differences:
1) You do not need to remove the cowl/HVAC assembly.
2) To access the MAP sensor, connector #2, you must loosen and pull up the airbox assembly a
few inches. Remove the rubber grommets holding wire bundles, loose the worm clamp, and
physically pull the airbox up off its rubber mounts high enough to reach the sensor below.
3) The Stage1 control box will be located under a plastic cover on the passenger side as shown.
4) ONLY connectors #1 and #2 are used. DO NOT connect solenoid & MAF connectors. Just
tuck them out of the way.

Also, email from Jon at Burger:
Please follow the instructions in the install guide but ignore connections 3 and 4 and only connect 1 and 2. You should try to tuck the box into the area on the passenger side of the engine compartment behind the rubber seal. It will be similar to the instructions shown in the install guide.

Best,

Jon
BMS

This is for stage 1, higher stages on other cars will need the 4th connection. This is my understanding.

Here is a video from Burger on the install showing the above:

Hm, don't know then. When I did my install the instructions were as I stated. I actually tried running the tune for a while without the last two plugs installed and I didn't feel like the tune was doing anything. It wasn't until I plugged in the last one that I felt the additional power. Been running it like this since late last year without any codes or troubles.

I have the N55 Stage 1 also and it is a nice boost in power, instructions very specifically and in RED say don't use connector 3 or 4. Maybe this has changed form a year ago as I think the N55 Stage one is a bit different than what was used on the n55 previously being a JB3.

See below, # 4

Yeah it must be different now. Mine is specifically a JB3. I tried again removing that last connector and it felt totally stock. If that was it I'd probably just take it off heh.

What I really want is for the JB4 (Stage 2) to become available for our vehicles. That one looks like fun.
